But in all honesty, MailBakes has been (and still is!) the most amazing journey, and this past year growing it with the team has been something really special 💛

It’s all moved so quickly, from baking in the kitchen on my own to sending out thousands of slices each week - and I thought it would be lovely to just pause now and then and reflect on what we’re up to. A little space to share the behind-the-scenes, the chaos, the wins, and all the little moments we often forget to take in. Because truthfully, the past year has been such a whirlwind, and I’ve not always stopped to look around and actually enjoy it. 🎠✨

I’m not the most active on social media anymore as we’ve got an amazing marketing team now (thankfully!), and naturally become a bit more behind the scenes. But I thought this could be a nice little space for us to get to know each other a bit more - something a little slower, a bit more personal, and a lot more “real life” 💬

So here we are... blog post number one! And what better time to start than the week we sent out our very first subscription boxes! 🎉📦

We were honestly blown away by the response, especially considering we hadn’t even shouted about them yet. The first box featured a limited-edition raspberry ripple flavour, and wow… it was so delicious. The bakery team loved experimenting with new flavours, and everyone else was made up to get a taste of something a bit different! We have already decided our next flavour… and let’s just say, it’s just as delish 👀🍰
