Is a Cake Card letterbox friendly?
Yes. Our 1 and 2 slice Cake Cards are designed to fit through a standard UK letterbox, so nobody needs to be home to receive them.
If you order a 4 slice pack, it arrives as two Cake Cards in one delivery. That's too big to fit through the letterbox, so someone will need to be home to receive it.
Even with our letterbox friendly sizes, some cautious posties may choose not to post the card if they're worried about damaging it. If you're concerned, we recommend updating your Royal Mail delivery preferences to let them know it's safe to post.
What happens if nobody is home?
For our 1 and 2 slice Cake Cards, nobody normally needs to be home because they're designed to fit through a standard UK letterbox.
If you've chosen a delivery service that requires a signature, or you've ordered a 4 slice pack, Royal Mail may need someone to receive it.
Is my delivery date guaranteed?
No. You choose a delivery date and we bake and post your Cake Card to arrive on it, but final delivery is by Royal Mail, so occasionally one runs late.
If yours doesn't arrive, our Make It Right promise means we send a free replacement.
Over 400 Cake Cards leave our bakery every day, and 98% arrive on their chosen date.
What's the shelf life of the cakes?
Our cakes stay fresh for up to 7 days. Every Cake Card is baked and dispatched the same day to keep it as fresh as possible.
